TEXTURES 7-string guitarist Bart Hennephof has launched an “Inside The Songs” online video series explaining “some of the coolest riffs used in the songs by TEXTURES. I talk about how they are created and what processes we have gone through to come up with rhythms and patterns that challenge us while still keeping it as musical as possible. I think it’s a nice way to get some insight into our songs, and for guitarists, it’s cool to see how some riffs are played.”
The first in the series, which was recorded at Final Focus Studio in Tilburg, offers an inside look into playing the song “Stream Of Consciousness” from the band’s second album Drawing Circles from 2006. View the video here.
